To avoid being burnt at the stake for being gay, mediaeval siblings Daryl and Erika marry each other's lovers. When one of the lesbians falls pregnant via immaculate conception, both couples must battle their own conflicting feelings as they soon find out that they are about to co-parent the second coming of Christ.
