Kasia Eliasz Brazilian Jazz Quintet, Ta Tum Tum!, jazz harpist and a sax/flute player. And everything in one place at once! Extremely energetic, fun and musically rich group will be taking you for a journey to Brazil through samba, bossa nova and jazz!
Her Brazilian Quintet will be joined by Ta Tum Tum! - a trio she created in 2022 which has been sold out during Cruinniu na nOg in Riverbank Arts Centre. With the Quintet she will be playing at 20th Bydgoszcz Jazz Festival ’22 in Poland.
Brazilian rhythms have its roots in Africa and are one of the most recognisable rhythms in the world. Samba is enacted most spectacularly in the Brazilian Carnaval celebrations, which have captured the global imagination in its pulsating rhythms, its decadent revelry, its extroverted performativity and its extravagant exhibitionism.
