True Crime super-fan Julian is nearly thirty and still loves at home with hi hypochondriac Ma, Bernie. Having lost ten stone over the previous two years Julian is ready to step out on his first real date, with the strange and mysterious Clara.
His past and his Ma Bernie aren't quite ready to let him go however.
