OUR CHEFS:

Catherine Allen trained at the famous Ballymaloe Cookery School and runs her food business, 'Elbows     off the Table', which encompasses private catering, freezer meals, cookery classes and corporate demonstrations. She is also a passionate home chef who loves cooking for family and friends too. She shares delicious recipes and kitchen tips on her instagram page @_elbowsoffthetable_.

Catherine’s selection of easy but delicious canapes, can be made in advance and will be sure to impress your friends at Christmas. What better way to follow up than with a delicious chocolate dessert!

Arshad hails from Karachi and started training in The Sheraton Hotel there. He travelled all around Pakistan learning local and regional cuisine before moving to Ireland in 2002. He was head chef of Kinara until opening his own restaurant Taza in March 2019. Taza means Fresh in Urdu and is a multi-award winning restaurant. Arshad aims to serve authentic Pakistani food from old classics to modern twists, using the finest of fresh ingredients.

Arshad’s demonstration is of classic Pakistani / Indian dishes including a Tandoori and Curry – great for when you have family or friends round over the festive season.
