Robert Webb: Come Again

Fane Productions

Join award-winning actor, comedian and best-selling author, Robert Webb, for an insightful and witty evening about love, grief and time travel to celebrate the publication of his debut novel Come Again.

Before his 2017 memoir How Not to Be a Boy, Webb was known primarily for his outstanding comedic roles in Mitchell & Webb and the acclaimed hit series Peep Show. With vulnerability and humour, the part-memoir, part-call-to-arms took readers by storm, praised for its irreverent look at the state of modern masculinity and established Robert as an essential literary voice. Now, Webb’s first novel, Come Again - a story of friendship, love and 90s nostalgia (with at least one car chase) - brilliantly walks the line between humour and poignancy so familiar to fans of Webb’s memoir.

With Come Again, Webb tackles grief and love in a manner both hilarious and profound; the novel follows Kate, a woman in mourning of her late husband Luke, who suddenly finds herself in the wrong room, the wrong body, and the wrong decade. She is 18 again in her college room, reliving her first day of Freshers' Week 1992 - the very day she first met Luke.

Interviewed live on stage by some very special guests, Webb guarantees an evening full of laughter and wisdom.
