Evening Unwind: Georgia Connolly (Certified YTT200) teaches a mixed-ability Hatha Yoga class at the Loft in D-Light Studios. Her beginner-friendly classes start with grounding meditation and breath-work, to help students become mindfully aware of their breath/body connection. After gently warming up the whole body, you can expect a nice slow stretching out of the muscles, relieving physical and mental tension which may have built up during the working day. Moving your body with your breath will help calm your mind and reduce stress, whilst improving strength, flexibility and co-ordination. The class finishes with a full body relaxation, and it’s hard not to leave feeling more chilled out than when you arrived!
